Quote of the day

“In religion and politics, people’s beliefs and convictions are in almost every case gotten at second hand, and without examination.”
— Mark Twain

I find that’s largely true, which is a scary testament of human nature, given that we live in “the information age”. Please do yourself and your country a huge, huge favor, and actually research a candidate before voting. Does this person vote the way you’d want them to? Can this person be trusted beyond the next lobbyist group payoff? Forget “electability”, and all the other crap the major media try to cram down our throats… anybody is electable if people vote for them. That’s the way democracy works. Stop toeing the party line and think for yourself, “is my candidate a good candidate?”
