New year’s resolutions

I skipped the January 1st bandwagon this year. I think it makes more sense to make resolutions based on a personal year, rather than the Gregorian one. So as I begin another lap around the sun, here are my goals:

  1. I’m going to follow the One Hundred Push Ups routine until I can do 100 pushups whenever I want, and I’m going to maintain that level of fitness.
  2. I’m going to use the same routine on alternating days for sit ups, and maintain that level of fitness as well.
  3. I’m going to get a new job making more money, and hopefully closer to home.
  4. I’m going to actually code on an open source project, instead of just talking about it. Was planning on starting this Monday on Tweek, but I’m in a state of flux on that right now… leaning towards dumping Twitter for the new Identi.ca but I can’t code an Identi.ca client because there’s no API yet. It’s a young project undergoing a lot of growing pains. But one way or the other, I’m going to code something, because I need to. And it just might help me with resolution #3.
