Equal rights?

“Old age is not a license to disregard the law or the requirements of decent behavior toward others,” Judge Nicholas Underhill said. Although it is apparently enough to get you special treatment, as the same judge reduced an 81-year-old British grandmother’s sentence from 6 months to 4 months, and was considering freeing her if she would apologize. Which she refused to do. Admittedly, I prefer seeing special treatment for the elderly over special treatment for celebrities, which is all too common.

I wonder what’s going to happen to Paris? Are California laws really relaxed? Because 45 days and a suspended license seems a little light for violating probation on a DUI reckless driving charge.
